Linen by Krebs is the story of the couple behind the international clothing brand REDGREEN and a number of other major recognized brands who fell in love with linen.
Ever since they drew the lines for what would turn out to be the couple's first shirt, Karin and Bent Krebs have had a love for linen. A material that combines sustainability and well-being at the same time.
In the couple's 40-year career in the fashion industry, linen has been overshadowed by cotton and knitwear. And that annoyed Karin and Bent. In 2008, the couple decided that it was time to leave linen alone. The couple founded Linen by Krebs, which designs timeless classics in 100% linen, inspired by dunes, sand and water.
In the fall of 2018, Bent passed away. This prompted the couple's daughter, Mette Krebs, to join Linen By Krebs.
Like Karin and Bent, Mette has a great love for linen. And she loves to do things differently. A value she has brought to Linen by Krebs. Here, there are no fixed structures and rigid processes. On the other hand, the focal point of Mette's way of running the family business is accessibility. Today, Bent and Karin's great passion for flax lives on in Mette's plans for the future.
